What is web presence?
A.
Web presence is more than just having a website.
It includes a professional website, full hosting,
and a domain name that is easy for your customers
to remember because YOU choose it. All
of our hosting includes an email account (multiple
accounts are available) or if you prefer to use
your existing email account, you can have email
forwarded to it.
We can also provide custom tools to match your

Q. Establishing
web presence sounds expensive, how much do you charge?
A.
Our prices are extremely competitive. There are
two fees associated with our services. There is
an initial up-front fee for the website design and
hosting setup and then a low monthly cost for hosting,
maintenance, and upkeep of your site.
The initial up front fee can range from $699
to $1299+. This fee will vary greatly depending
on
the
complexity of the design and could be less or
more than the range we have given depending
on the size
of the project. Be assured that we will provide
ALL costs up front so you know what you're getting
into and we will never surprise you with any
hidden costs.
Because we have
our own hosting, our monthly fees are surprisingly
low
and average $25 to $50 a month. These
fees are extremely low for this type of service,
yet you
gain the benefits of your site being hosted at
a world-class Data
Center
in Los Angeles, email accounts/forwarders, maintenance
of your website, and a generous bandwidth allowing
for several thousands of visitors per month.
Again, we will provide what this fee will be
up front so
you can make an informed decision prior to signing
on with us.
If you think about it, having a web presence
is probably cheaper per month than having a listing
in the yellow
pages or the cost you pay for your cellular phone
bill, yet you have potential to reach countless
more people.
We also offer custom packages to fit your needs exactly. These packages have their
own

of this sounds good, but it seems so complicated!
Where do I start, what do I have to know?
A. We're
here to make it easy for you. To start with, let
us know what you're interested in. What kind of
business do you have? What sort of services would
you like? If you're not sure what you want, give
us some very general ideas and we can offer suggestions
or solutions based on our years of experience in

Q.
Will I have to pay
for every update to my website?
A.
If you purchase one of our packages (web design + hosting) your monthly fee includes 1 hour worth of maintenance
and updates per month. This pertains only to content
changes and does not apply to structural or design
changes. Most minor content updates take around 15-30 minutes
per job. On average, a web designer will charge
upwards of $100+ an hour, so receiving 1 hour of
updates per month is a $100+ value that you receive
FREE with your package. We will never go over the allotted
hour without contacting you first. This allotted
hour (or fraction of the hour) cannot be accrued
to be used for a later month.

I already have
a website, but it looks amateurish and/or
is broken, can you help?
A.
We would be happy to review your website and offer
you a price quote for making your website appear
the way you want it to. We also offer a Web Doctor
service which can fix your broken site. Feel free

have my own hosting, is this possible?

We would be happy to design a website for you
and can offer you a quote for just this service

Q.
I would like to get a quote or do business with
you but I don't want to be spammed, what is your
policy on this?
A.
The easiest way to lose business is to spam potential
or existing clients. If you would like a quote,
we will be happy to provide it. If you choose to
not do business with us, we will not email you at
any point after that.
For our existing clients, we do not work with any
third party companies and will never sell or provide
your email address to anyone outside of Maikai Designs.
